School Board Candidate Selection for the April 2011 Election

The Lake Bluff School Caucus is a nonpartisan association devoted to nominating the best candidates possible for the school boards of District 65 (Lake Bluff Elementary) and District 115 (Lake Forest Community High School). In this way, the Caucus can help provide the highest-quality school system. The Caucus strictly maintains its nonpartisan status and its equal representation of all areas of the school district. The Caucus encourages the broadest possible citizen participation in selecting school board candidates and in maintaining its own membership.

The Caucus is currently seeking individuals for the following positions:

  • Three positions on the District 65 school board, all four-year terms
  • One position on the District 115 school board, a four-year term

The individuals recommended for these positions will be on the April 2011 election ballot.

If you would like to be considered for a School Board position, please download and complete the candidate interest form (linked here as a Word document). Save the form and e-mail it as an attachment, along with a resume or brief personal biography, to secretary@lbschoolcaucus.org.

Completed forms and biographies are due by Friday, October 8, 2010. Candidates will be contacted by a Caucus member to receive an interview time and location.
